In the summer of '82 the world seemed just about ten automatic transmissions wide.
By the summer of '97 whole new worlds of automotive variety and complexity had come to be. From this chaos arose Talley Trans. Too many honest, hard-working repair facilities were hampered by the issues of accurate parts identification, availability, quality, & delivery at a fair price. Nationwide backorder on dealer-captive parts came to be a common occurrence. While takeout, or good running units could be had, excessive mileage & sloppy warranties seemed the norm. While everyone is still advancing in diagnostic skills, ECMs & TCMs have been a very expensive mistake to make.
